Allergy season is about to begin. Tree and grass pollen will cause millions of adults and children to have itchy eyes, sneezing, nasal congestion, cough, fatigue and wheezing. Once allergy symptoms begin they tend to recur and may worsen. Desensitization is the only effective, long term, treatment for airborne allergies. Two methods are available – allergy shots or sublingual – under the tongue- allergy drops. Drops are safer, administered at home and can be given to children.
